I've made it a tradition to take photographs of each of my daughters on their birthdays. We typically choose a theme or photograph them doing something they've particularly enjoyed that year, so when we look back, we can remember what they loved doing at that age. These are some of my favorite sessions to shoot because they are all about fun—who doesn't love balloons, confetti, and cake? From first birthdays to 100th, every year of life is worth celebrating.
